A traditional wooden-and-plaster mountain house stands among trees and garden vegetation in Santa Maddalena, Funes, South Tyrol. The building features a dark timber upper facade, carved balcony railing, red flower boxes, green shutters and a pitched roof, photographed in autumn daylight.
Story
The house features a dark timber upper facade, a broad pitched roof and a projecting balcony with a carved railing. Red flowers fill the balcony boxes, while the white plaster lower level has green shutters and several windows. Trees, garden vegetation, blue sky and white clouds create a layered rural mountain setting. The photograph was captured on 12 October 2015 along St. Johann road at approximately 1,322 metres elevation.
