This autumn panorama looks across the deep, narrow Black Canyon of the Gunnison from Gunnison Point on the Oak Flat Loop Trail in Colorado. Steep, vertically striated rock walls, jagged formations, shadowed depths, foreground boulders and a distant ridge create a detailed natural landscape scene under a clear blue sky.

The scene includes vertically striated reddish-brown, gray and tan cliffs, jagged pinnacles, large foreground boulders, sparse vegetation and a distant flat-topped ridge.
