A calm river curves through a forested mountain valley, bordered by a pale sandy or gravel shoreline and framed by evergreen and deciduous trees. Rugged mountain peaks with patches of snow rise beneath a clear blue sky with thin clouds. The image is associated with the Merced River corridor in Yosemite, California, and was captured in autumn.
