This panoramic landscape photograph shows a rocky, forested mountain slope beyond a grassy clearing on the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta. Bare and darkened tree trunks, fallen logs, stumps, scattered rocks, and coniferous vegetation create a detailed foreground beneath a cloudy sky. Captured in autumn, the scene presents the layered terrain and recovering woodland of the Canadian Rockies.
