A moss-covered boulder rests on the rocky shore of Lake Chūzenji, with calm water and a wooded opposite bank. Green, yellow, orange, and reddish foliage marks the autumn season, while low cloud or mist hangs over the distant forested slope. The image was photographed from a shore-level viewpoint in the Chūgūshi area of Nikkō, Tochigi, Japan.
