This panoramic landscape shows a blue river crossing an open meadow beneath forested hills in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Golden grasses, pale mineral-looking ground, distant mist or vapor, and clear blue sky create a layered autumn scene near the Midway Geyser Basin area. The nearby geothermal features are not identifiable in the image itself.
