This wide alpine panorama was photographed near Grindjisee on the Murmeltierweg above Zermatt, Switzerland. The scene shows a pointed, snow-streaked mountain peak, rugged high-altitude slopes, a turquoise lake, forested valley, grassy terrain, and scattered clouds in bright summer daylight.
