Photographed on 16 August 2017 from an elevated viewpoint near the Drehrestaurant Allalin and the Hohlaubgrat approach, this panoramic landscape presents the Allalin Glacier amid steep alpine slopes and distant rugged peaks. Rocky ground and patches of snow fill the foreground, while large cumulus clouds gather around the mountain range. The location is associated with the Mittelallalin area above the Saas Valley in Valais, at approximately 3,462 metres elevation.
