Description
A multi-tiered waterfall descends over dark gray and ochre rock ledges, framed by tall evergreen trees and dense forest vegetation. The photograph was taken at Tangle Falls along the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park, Alberta, during summer.
Story
White water descends through several rocky tiers at Tangle Falls, creating a strong vertical composition framed by evergreen trees, shrubs, exposed roots, and scattered rocks. Blue sky and broad white clouds appear above the forest canopy. The image was captured in August 2015 in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, along the Icefields Parkway.
