Story
Captured in August 2015, the image presents Takakkaw Falls from a ground-level landscape perspective along the Takakkaw Lake Route. The waterfall drops from a narrow opening in the rock face into a fast-flowing channel scattered with boulders, while evergreen trees frame the lower slopes. Soft, diffused light and heavy cloud cover emphasize the textures of the cliffs, flowing water, and surrounding Yoho Valley landscape in Yoho National Park.
