This panoramic landscape photograph captures the shallow Merced River, grassy islets, meadow, forest, and pale granite cliffs of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, California. Recorded in autumn from Northside Drive, the scene combines a broad river foreground with the expansive valley walls and clear blue sky.
